When we all quit buying lexmark and when they are on the verge of bankruptcy, I suspect they might consider they should have fixed these problems but I will believe a fix when I see it. When you try to delete them from the cancel jobs button you cannot. Although faxes can still be received and are in the MFP you can't get any of them and there is no way to delete them. Change from the Forward option to the Print option.

It's been happening with XP and now Vista. It happens with several different printers from several different manufacturers. It happens most recently with my Lexmark Vista compat. Print jobs won't print; but, when you try to delete the print job, it just stays there.
Cancel does nothing. Delete does nothing. Stopping the spooler via services does nothing. Powering off the printer then re-powering does nothing. Rebooting does nothing. After everything It won't go away. The only way to fix it is to delete the printer and re-install. This is getting really flippin' old! It's a little more easy to see when launching cmd. If you do the same "Run as administrator" for cmd. If you were to launch cmd normally, you would just see "Command Prompt" as the window title. Launching either cmd. I can also open printer queue as Administrator and be able to cancel job, but that is not what I am looking for. I am member of domain admins do I just wanna open devices and printers, locate job and cancel it, without any extra clicking, if you know what I mean :.
This is found in Print Management Console. Right click your server name and select Properties, then go to the security tab. If that looks good, Windows is not passing you along with the proper security acls so just create a domain or local group and add those folks that need to be able to manage printers and the documents in queue.
Assign all the rights to this group to all the existing printers and to the default security I mentioned previously. This permission will only take affect on new print jobs. The ones in the queue were created before this change and you don't have rights. When I get to a computer tomorrow I will send the Technet link to the Microsoft document that was created when the delegated print server admin feature was added to Windows.
Just a last question - when I open printer queue with Control Panel, I still have access denied, but when I open it with Print Management, it is working just perfect. Don't you know why?

Other times, you might have to cancel all the currently printing documents and then try printing them again. The print queue window shows the print jobs currently awaiting printing.
